Is there BB live feed during the day on freeview?

Hi there - no afraid not - the live feed is only available on Sky and Virgin.

Hi Shoe Girl,
The reason we are taking a break in the run of this series is two-fold. Firstly, as I am sure you are aware, due to the Writers Strike, we had to delay the start of the series and secondly, we then had to plan our forthcoming schedules on the assumption that we would perhaps receive fewer or even no further episodes past episode 10.

Our schedules are drafted many months in advance and so during the break in production, we had to assume that Desperate Housewives would not be available to screen and so it was safer to assume that we would be able to play any remaining episodes which we might receive, in the Autumn.

We are planning to screen the remaining episodes of year 4 and start year 5 this year. That does mean we will be in sync with the US transmissions of the series and will also mean that we are able to screen a bumper run of the series in the Autumn, which we thought viewers would appreciate.

Hope the above explains our reasoning! I do appreciate the withdrawal symptoms though!

For almost 8 series you have given us, well we have paid for happily, the net stream. Why stop it now. For some people it his is the only means to watch the show.. how do you feel about letting the fans down?

I agree with Mount Olympus, this is a sad day a lot of fans are now not going to get the chance to watch live streaming at all and will be subject to endless repeats on E4 when you could be showing live stream

we want live streaming and we want it for the 5th June.
Some people do not have the means of watching the live streaming, only via the internet.
not all of us can be with virgin or sky.
nor do I want to watch the 60 minutes you get during the day, nor do I wanna watch them sleep, quite frankly, I am very disappointed in this.
I have no means of watching the live streaming.
I am a MASSIVE fan of big brother, watched it for years upon end now, and don't know if I will even watch this series now!! it has disappointed me that much.

I can;t believe, I am annoyed/disappointed already and the bluddy show hasn't started yet.

Hi there, yes there is a repeat at around 11.30am.

i wish you would repeat it later in the day...i guess i'll have to keep an eye when Season 4 starts to i can sky + all the episodes from that season.

SJP - just an FYI - as we are running the first 3 series concurrently - series 4 wont be before September at the earliest.

Just bringing up my reply to your reply to my question again.... in case you missed it

If it is a case of money I'd rather C4 be honest and say so and if it isn't I'd like to know why they took the service, we happily paid for, away.

Oh and also, how they feel about the numbers of viewers they have lost or will lose as a result of that decision and how the sponsors feel about that.

(check around BB forums here and other places to see the amount who are fed up and angry and have gone off BB because of this)

Apart from us in the UK they seem to forget that there are a lot of fans in the US and Oz who love our BB the best and who also won't be able to watch it I really feel that ch4 should look at this again, I really can't see why there is a problem with internet streaming or is it the sponsors laying down the law and business not really caring about the people as per usual

I'd like to add my voice to those expressing great disappointment at the decision to drop the internet live stream for BB9. For me it has in the past been the best way to watch BB, and I was happy to pay for it. Why can't we have it this year too?
