sad that genius doesnt bring manners - prime example the pianist girl - feel so sorry for her parents! the WAY she spoke to her mother! could not believe it!
But Surely the mother should have taught the girl how to be respectful.
Sounds to me like the mother has made a rod for her own back. Letting a child get away with bad behaviour when little because it`s cute, or because the child is "special" only creates bigger problems when the child grows up. The child grows up not knowing how to behave properly, and so ends up being friendless as no-one wants to be friendly to a brat, or a rude adult.
Just because a person is a genius, doesn`t mean they can`t be a decent human being as well.
