well i never watch much telly but i watched this and what a great programme it was.

a lone voice of reason in a world of carbon trading insanity. pretty much affirmed what i've been thinking for ages.

What did these people have to gain, Roy?

Two are implicated in the 'car', and 'oil' lobbies, others have anti green agendas. Don't take my word for it, research the issue; google the names of the handful of participants in the programme, and, most importantly, read what George Monbiot has to say about the producer!

Oh yes; and read today's on-line Guardian's TV review by Zoe Williams.

She also reviews that *wonderful* documentary on BBC4 last night about Al Franken.

Follow the money!! Massive government grants, vested political interest, anti-american, global power play, the carbon emmissions has it all.
This documentary is a wake up call to the mindless sheep buying into this dogma.

yes we should conserve our precious fossil fuels and keep out immediate enviroment clean for our own benefit, but all this carbon tax hoohaa...all sides have their own agenda not just the 'unbelievers'

I very much suspect that the global warming issue has been blown out of proportion by politicians, in the hope that it will scare the public into not minding so much if they receive higher tax bills for cars and electricity etc, believing that the rise in cost is going towards the environment or deterring people from using resources as much. What it really comes down to is greedy governments thinking of evermore-elaborate excuses to take money off the public.
