I am looking for advice on how to find this ambient music score I keep hearing everywhere. It's been on a Vogue Furnishings advert (Jan 2006), a James Villa Holidays advert (Jan 2006) and I heard it on Channel 4 programme 'The Sex Inspectors' tonight. I also heard it as background music to a Patricia Arquette interview on the SCI-FI channel as a promo to her show Medium. It's driving me MENTAL cos all anyone ever tells me is that it is from their stock music database and not available to the public for contractural reasons or it has been specially commissioned and therefore, again, not available to the public.
Does anyone know how I can find out who the music & audio production company is that produces the track so I can contact them directly?
**Anna Friieeeel, like I just got home, Anna Frieeeel**
There have been many themes that I have wanted to track down over the years, and most them I've failed to identify, but a few I have. The theme to the BBC children's TV drama Moonfleet in the early 80s turned out to be Tippett's Little Music for Strings, and more recently, some haunting track used on war documentaries and other progs turned out to be Cinematic Orchestra's All Things to All Men.
In fact, Cinematic Orchestra seem to be a stock music editor's favourite, so it might be worth exploring their tracks.
hi there, I've had a look at the music sheets for this - there was a lot of music used within the programme Sex Inspectors which was all 'library' music. What I can tell you though is that all the music was published either by Audio Network or Fremantle Music Publishing. The only piece of commercially available music was I Like the Way U Move by Bodyrockers. Hope this helps.
