Did anybody watch this last night? I could not believe the stupid story lines but even more so the dreadful acting.
I know it's tacky and always has been but when it first started it seemed to have an element of reality and some good storylines but now it's just ridiculous. Liberty (half of the new couple) must be the worst actress I've ever seen - she couldn't seem to make up her mind if she was from up north or America and her overacted gestures looked like she was trying out for the school play.
The end of the previous series was played out in the spin-off so anybody who didn't see those would've missed all the conclusions and the set-up for the new series.
All in all a dreadful start to a (now) dreadful series. Come back Tanya Turner!!
No, they seem to carry the storylines over into Extra Time but for those that don't have any extra channels would miss these which strikes me as being very unfair. You sit through a whole series which ends on a cliffhanger but is then concluded in the other program so you just have to try and pick it back up again from the start of the new series. Stupid!
The second series of Extra Time is like a spinoff - it involves characters from the main show in minor amounts to not interfere with the main show, but has linked characters (like children of the footballer's ex wife, or the coach's son, Tanya's half sister etc).
The show is getting a bit stupid now though. Amber is very irritating and half the storylines are nicked from Desperate Housewives. That new woman looks like a transvestite!

Oh! And how could I forget Bruno who seemingly could not catch a horse drawn cart despite being a professional footballer who has to sprint up and down a football pitch for 90 minutes. And his acting was almost as bad as Liberty's.
