Yeah I'd agree with that too. I've seen all the Season 12 eppys so far and I'd have to say its the strongest ER is a good few years. Just shows that Noah Wylie was not the be all and end all of the show afterall (not that I ever thought he was )

ER- wow I really do hope it over between Luka & Sam last season was bad with these 2 character, I side with Sam she doesn’t want to have another baby with Luka, that her choice. She right she can’t replace his son and she shouldn’t try. She was quite tolerable in this episode which a surprise, Still I don’t like the actor that plays the boy-he just seem a bit lame at acting. It felt like he was not even trying.
2nd year resident, let start with Ray-his teaching method was less than desirable because he didn’t like people asking question. Neela make her resident cry, that has best comical performance by her character-she had a right to have a go he missed important points, correct him so many times. Abbey I actually thought she did a good job until Prat mentioned she didn’t explained why she did what she did, in fact she did it herself. I think out these 3, 1st place go to abbey 2nd place go to neela and ray in last place. I liked they did that that way 3 then 2 then 1st.
Yeah, I don't want to spoil anything for ya since I've seen the eppys....but I realy like what they are doing with Neela's character this season. She's getting her fair share of the comedy lines and scenes.

I love Neela, she's so great the lines she comes out with in the next few episodes are so funny and she totally plays it straight.
My Sky+ deleted the link last night so I missed it but luckily I've already seen it. Personally didn't like it too much, Sam annoys me and the kid's head transplant was awful timing - the storyline that she didn't want another baby to replace her son was almost made a joke by the re-casting of Alex. Ray still bugs me and Morris is such a hoot.

Yeah, glad I'm not the only one who isn't enamoured with Sam. She does my head in.
Neela is FAB this season (and i'd agree Bala that she was soooo under-used last season). Parminda is a great actress and she really plays the comedy scene well.
As much as Morris annoys me, he cracks me up all the time. And as for Ray......he's adorable - ok he's cocky, but cute!

the epi was quite good. had some funny scenes - neela making her intern cry!...lol love Abby - but again those who dislike her would think shes still getting faaaar too much air time!

The actor who played Sam's Kid was already recurring on another show (I believe it was a comedy, not sure which one / which channel) but I remember reading E! Online Krisitin's Column stating that the actor had been made a regular on that other show, so no longer had the time to do ER.
In a few episodes time theres yet another kid playing Sam's son!

Its EVE (not EVA)... she is only a guest star for a handful of episodes, you'll see plenty of Sam through this storyline with Eve.
Not sure how I feel about Sam, I think there running out of storylines... it will be interesting to see how they write Linda Cardelini out of the show later in the season!
Her run on the show ends with the episode "Its All About Christmas, Eve".. .which is about the 9th or 10th episode of the season, but she doesnt appear in all of the episodes leading up to that.
I don't like the character either, but I do quite like the actress (she was good on 3rd Rock imo)
