quote: Fourth 'Die Hard' out next summer
Friday, August 4 2006, 10:01 BST - by David Cribb The fourth installment of the Die Hard series will hit the screen next summer, reports suggest.
Bruce Willis will reprise his role as policeman John McClane, over a decade after the last part was released.
The film will be directed by Len Wiseman, who said: "Our villain is high-tech, but the way McClane deals with him is low-tech. A fist fight still solves a lot of problems."
The movie is expected to be released over the Independence Day weekend in the US.

Ooh cool, though after Die Hard 3 which IMHO was the worst of the trilogy, I have doubts. However will prob go watch it anyway.

*yawn* Bored of adding films to older trilogys/sagas. Especially with the same aging stars

They can't handle new ideas - a new inventive film franchise is released, people don't understand it and walk out. It's dying

They've all been made within the same few years of each other. I mean this phase of resurrecting movies - Rocky, Indiana Jones (rumoured), Die Hard. With the same aging "heroes".

Hmm well I have to admit I like younger people as usually means more violent, more action orientated, but if Die Hard 4 is released I'd go to watch it. Rocky I'm not fussed about as never seen any of the others, but if Indy IV is made, then hell and high water will not stop me from watching that. It might be bad, but these are heroes I grew up with, esp. Indy, who is one of my heroes, and so even if it is bad, I will still go to watch it, and most likely enjoy it.

Slammy, you should see it. Its much more of a boys film. The girls all end up looking pretty neurotic, pathetic and ridiculous. There's nothing feminist about it (except the pointless female boss going on about sexual harassment and even then Luke Wilson's character makes a point of how it works both ways). You'd probably love it. I thought it was awful.

Inside Man was very poor IMO, infact it was all rather pointless in the end........
