So, I see that Ed's back in a couple of weeks (repeats) ... but was wondering if there's any news about when the final series of Third Watch will be aired... anyone???

nope they are not going to show it

they have not exactly said that more like we have no plans at present moment

I was hoping they would show TW this summer - I guess not - maybe FX will show the new series.

offical reply from fx--series 4/5/6 will be shown from early 2007--they cannot show before then due to tv rights.so not sure if that means ch4 will lose the rights to s6 this year or weather they still own the terrestial rights--but for know 100% right s6 2007 on fx--or if s1 of the dvd is a good seller they will release the other seasons every 3 months-so buy the season 1 dvd-now--i have

Who told you that? I was worried that - like the Japan release - we'd only see season 1 released

IT WAS ON THE TV.com site-and there always right--and ir was the same with nypd blue-series 1+2 were not good sellers-but they tryed again and now season 3 has been-and i have my s4 from the usa come last week---i bought my third watch-but cannot see a email address on the box --if u can let me know- i will email them and confirm-and the japan release came out few years ago and the extras-wrere crap-and so was the sound-i bought a copy-so now i have the japan copy and the r2 copy,all shows are treated the same -some shows make more money on dvd then tv-miami vice s1+2 was the best seller for paramount-and soon s3 will be out r1 end of year--but boys meet world -good-series has been cancelled after poor sales of s1+2+3 so another waste of money--i bought series 1 of renegade over 18 months ago-and they have given it another chance -but this time released s2+3 together-so hopefully s4+5 will be soon-

My Japanese copy has good sound - i didn't notice any difference. - Yes no extras, but i don't think the R2 copy doesn't have any either, no nothing gained on buying it for me.
