After watching this documentary i was looking to find out other viewers opinions on the situation. I personally have always been cynical of the whole situation but after watchin this documentary i still dont know what to believe, all i can say is , is it wise to have a man who may be a threat to children, who obviously has an upper hand due to his wealth be in a atate where he can hideaway, so to speak without people knowing what he is doing? Ater all with all the royalties he makes from recordings he has made and also the fact that many people still hold him in high regard is a get free card really, and if the rumours are true many other children may still be at risk.
If lie detector test are so conclusive as they claim to be why hasnt one been performed on this man by force? after all if he has commited these offences he no more than a common peadophille, if this was put into practice maybe if he is innocent he could be proven wrong.
You may notice throughout thios i have referred to michael jackson as "man" as that is what he is , a man regardless of his celebrity status and also his apparent "quest for a childhood he never had" although i admit it would have been hard to succumb to the pressures of stardom at such a young age and giving up childhood such as normal play with friends due to such pressures i still feel that any adult regardless of upbringing should have open morals where they know what is right or wrong especially in terms of lewd acts towards children, take for example donny osmond......same case different story in a way, he was idolised by millions at around the same time and never took advantage.
As i said i am still not sure of the guilt of mr jackson or not and as an admitted fan of his work i wish to believe that it is untrue but there are more questions to be raised about the allegations to stop more children being at risk if the allegations may be true.
If i am honest i think it would be in everyones best interest if it could be summoned that mr jackson be made take a lie detector test and if the allegations are true then everyone boycott his sales and things as he would be no more than a common peadophille, a poor peadophille and a rich one are no different after all, they are still prying on the bodies and minds of innocent children, and if not the whole world should celebrate hos victory if he should come as telling the truth ater all, he is a "genius" and should remain to be treated as the king of pop, as he still is.
Michael Jackson: What really happened? Well according to this piece of "journalistic investigation" alot of bad thing.
Things we learnt...
1) Jacksons childhood wasnt really that bad. 2) He smells of mothballs 3) He was in love with a 13 year old boy 4) He likes to write on bedsheets with faeces
Now, my problem with this program was that it was totally biased and the maker was not interested in a fair and balanced program, instead he wanted to make a piece of sensationalist propaganda.
The "facts" were coming thick and fast, from a cast of Anti-Jackson favourites. Journalists, biographers and ex-staff who were owed money.
The documentary's maker (his name escapes me) obviously didnt want to come across as totally biased so gave a minute out of his hour-long program to Jackson's lawyer Thomas Messereau. He had only positive things to say about Jackson, so naturally we didnt see much of him. We wouldnt want him to get in the way of the "facts" would we?
I fully understand that Michael Jackson has acted totally inappropriately and his often crazy behaviour only fuels these rumours. However, i would like to point out that back in 2004, a jury (mainly made up of mothers) listened, for over three months, to testimonies and evidence from prosecution and defense and found Jackson NOT GUILTY on 14 charges.
Not mentioned in the program last night, was the mother of the 2004 accuser being found guilty of fraud, when she had accused a security guard of molesting her and her daughter and receiving a huge cheque at the end of it all. I guess information like that isnt important.
Im not saying Jackson is 100% innocent. He has put himself and those boys in totally inappropriate situations. However, lets not forget that just because you lie in bed with a child, does not mean you have to have sex with the child.
The fact that society believes the only option is sex, says more about society than it does about Michael Jackson.
There is no way that guy was a fan of Mr Jackson-no way! That lazy piece of documentary making is up there with that Bashir sensationalisit piece of inaccurate crap! There are far more bigger questions here that need answering, like if any of these stories are true? Why is it that none of the so called responsible adults around at the time failed to act. Why were these inapproaprite situations Micheal got in to ever allowed to happen in the first place-where was the wisdom people?? Where were the sensible folk at the time. The idiotic parents lapped up the attention and generousity of the star rather than excersising an air of caution like they would of done, had celebrity not been involved!!
