Sawyer_Rocks - don't worry, it has happened to lots of people. We ASSers only hate spoilers and people who post them deliberatly.

Spoiler Warnings aren't used in the S/F forum because people almost certainly wouldn't read the post, us being the non-spoiler people. I don't know if you go onto the main forum but I'll put here how to do it over there -

Correct Version - For your own thread
'Shannon - episode 2:06 *SPOILERS*' if you wanted to discuss Abandoned when she was shot (people don't like to read episode titles ahead of them.) The important part is to include the word 'spoiler' in your title.

Incorrect Version - For your own thread
Believe it or not there are people who write titles such as: 'Shannon dies *spoiler*' That is obviously an incorrect way to do it.

Correct Version - Replying to a post
If you are talking about spoilers everyone else is (and the thread has a warning) go ahead and talk normally.
If you are talking about something further along than them, or a different spoiler you can put make your text white so only people who want to read it can, run your mouse over the line below:

this is what it would look like

you can do this via the button next to the smilies or put: [COLOR :WHITE]spoile here[/COL OR] (just remember to take away the spaces.)

Some people might miss the example before so what people tend to do is something like this:

********Spoiler spoiler goes here*********

If you are talking about something the people you are talking to might not understand (say it was about Shannon dying) put:

(Spoiler for 2.06 about Shannon)*********Shannon dies, she is shot by ana-lucia*************


Okay - I've rambeled a heck of a lot but I hope that that makes sense to you and I've helped out a bit. If everyone treated main forum spoilers in the way above then it would be a much safer place.

Amazing how some people have to practically beg for forgiveness and others just get it brushed off cos they are "legends" around here (yes it may have only happened once but tha'ts enough isn't it...). This forum never changes

I told Sawyer_Rocks that no one blamed him/her and that it was okay and absolutly nobody has had a go or attacked S_R.
I also answered her question about how to do spoiler warnings.

So I don't see what the problem is

The Magazine "DVD Review" MAJOR SPOILERS!!!

I figured coz it was a DVD mag, it would be reviewing the boxset...well it does, but there are more spoilers.

AND IT TALKS ABOUT SEASON 3.

I avoided...the only reason I bought it was cozz it had a pic of Sawyer (along with Eko, Jack and Ana - who looks ridiculously pretty) on the front....

but the interview is with Kate.

There's about 5 pages, but each has a spoiler warning....yet another mag I can't read!

Ugh...

The same magazine says that the DVD boxset, part 1 season two....

Well the extras are, "Spoiler heavy"...guess we shall have to be careful!

Ooo...I also failed to tell you about Heat.

Same as always....it's a week ahead, so gives a review for next week eppy before it's shown. Just be careful...

Really the only reason I bought it...I froze in the middle of WHSmiths, grabbed it...and then ran to the counter.

It upsets me at the spoileryness though...and the fact the DVDs will be the same...shame!

I know something that happens in Episode 23 because i read a thread in the non-spoiler room which was titled something like "My Theory" or "what do you think?" but when i read it i found a spoiler :'(. Anyway i was on Lostpeidia.com and that has loads, but i sorta didnt read them but there were descriptions of and references to EVERY EPISODE. Anyway this thread rocks, it's a landmine of spoilers out there, and this is the minesweeper!
