Who wants to join me in appreciating this great man. I think we know enough about him to see that he's a man of deep compassion..a man of faith who is selfless in his action..a man who would put his fellow man before himself..a man who is physically strong yet [can be] as gentle as a butterfly..

This isnt a fanclub..it's a society..its a movement which shares in the ethos and values of the Magnificent Eko. This can be a place where we share our views on the magnificent one and support him should he ever receive defamation.

Who will join the Followers of Eko [F.O.E]?

HAHA, really I nearly fell of my chair!

Well I am already in a number of Secret Societies, I shall await confirmation of how the FOE will fit in with them!

At the moment I think Eko is a really strong character. However I feel I need to see a bit more of him before I decide. We have only seen him in about three episodes. I need more!

I'll have to say....count me in! I think Mr Eko is a great character and I'm sure there is a lot more to him than initially seen.

Welcome aboard Emma..glad to have another Eko fan flying the flag! I agree, i think there is a lot more to come from him..there something there isnt there..something which hasnt been revealed yet..somekind of great pain or struggle..eitherway he's a very layered character..or at least has the potential to be!

Thats exactly it...a great pain or struggle!! Like hes had some hardship in his life, hope we get to delve deeper into his past!

I so agree..it will be so interesting to find out more about him..discover what makes him tick and what brought him to being on that flight etc..cant wait for an Eko flashback!

I'm so slow ! I only just discovered F.O.E without the spaces spells foe . Anyway , I don't want to join the club even though I do think he's a very good character and I do like him but I just popped in to agree that there may well be some leadership rivalry with Eko and Locke . Eko may be the better leader and Locke may become a jealous man .

I do agree there is much more to Eko than currently meets the eye, but I cant wait to find out, I really hope that we get a back story on him soon!

My only worry is that Locke might see him as a thread, but Locke is hopefully way above that childish business!

Yeah..two of them tried to take him off with them..but it looked like he clobbered them with that rock that was in his hand! Go Eko! No wonder they wanted him first!
