I was just thinking, we have seen all the flashbacks so far but are we certain what order they go in for each character??? Lets try and put the flashbacks in order that we have seen so far, lets start with the (relatively0 easy one... Jack

JACK - I think:

-White Rabbit [The part when he was a child] - episode 5, Jack see's a vision of his dad so goes searching for him in the jungle. In the flashback Jack gets beated up as a child..his father warns him to 'not be a hero' etc.

-MOSMOF - The first episode of S2. In the Flashback, Jack is working at St. Sebastian Hospital, he meets Desmond and he 'saves' Sarah.

-Do No Harm - Jack struggles to keep Boone alive, he seems haunted by past events and this clouds his judgement, he almost chops Boones leg off..Boone later dies after asking Jack to "let him go". In the FB, Jack and Sarah are getting married. Jacks dad tells him that "commitment makes him tick" and encourages him to marry Sarah when Jack has his doubts.

-Daddy Issues - Locke, Jack, Kate and Boone go in search of Claire and Charlie who have been abducted by Ethan. Jack saves Charlie's life when all looks lost. In the FB, Jack and his dad lose a patient..Jacks dad has been drinking for some time..Jack finds out that the patient was pregnant and grasses on his dad for his drink addiction.

And haelle, Shannon's suck. Shannon in general sucked. As did Boone, who's flashbacks also sucked.

Locke's are, maybe bar the orientation one, the best.

... And Found - We see Jin first meeting Sun after he is fired from his job at a hotel. We see Sun first meeting Jin after she realises that the guy she was going to marry (through arranged marriage) is in love with someone else. The guy was also the manager [?] of the hotel that Jin was working at.

... In Translation - Jin goes to work for Sun's father.

House of the Rising Sun - Jin asks Sun to marry him and tells her that he is going to work for her father.

... In Translation - We see Jin and Sun as they are about to get married. Jin tells Sun that they will go on a Honeymoon 6 months after they get wed, but as time goes on he seems to be showing more interest in his work than in Sun. We also see Jin doing some of his dirty work for Sun's father as he goes and beats up a man. Lastly we see Jin returning home; he is all bloody and Sun asks him what happened; he tells her he was working for her father; she slaps him and walks off.

House of the Rising Sun - Jin returns home; he is all bloody and Sun asks him what happened; he tells her he was working for her father; she slaps him and walks off. Sun starts to learn English as she is planing on leaving Jin and moving to the US.

... In Translation - Jin goes to visit his father (who Sun believes is dead).

House of the Rising Sun - We see Sun and Jin at the airport. Sun is planing on leaving in a car waiting for her outside for her... but when the time comes for her to leave, she realises that she can't leave him.

Kate has had quite a few . I'm not perticulary a fan , but it's got to be added by someone .

Tabula Rasa - Kate wakes up in a barn , found by a man with a gun . We find out she is a fugitive on the run . Why ? We don't know . She lives with the man for quite some time to help him work . After living with the man for quite some time , he's driving her to the train station . Only to trap her , and get her arrested by no other than the marshall .

Whatever The Case May Be - We go further back in time to her helping a man , to rob a bank . They do so sucessfully , and when they get to the money , she shoots her partners in crime and steals one box . With nothing in it but a toy plane .

Born To Run - Yet again , we go further back in time , and we see Kate meet up with her ' childhood sweetheart ' . We go on to find out that he is the owner of the toy plane . Kate's childhood sweetheart , Tom , get's her access to see her mother at the hospital he works at . However , this backfires , when her Mum screams for help . Getting the police on Kate's tail . She tries to escape the hospital , with Tom , but poor Tom gets shot in the process . She leaves the car , and runs .

That's all of Kate's so far . Woh , I ended up righting quite a lot there !

Kate:
Pilot: Part 2 - We discover Kate was a fugitive and was on the plane with the US Marshal.

Whatever the Case May Be: We see Kate in a bank robbery (for a time, she pretends to be a civilian during it). One of the robbers then says to the bank manager, that it was all Kate's idea (while trying to get him to open a deposit box). Kate shoots the other criminals for this and again asks the bank manager to open the safety deposit box (#815).

Born to Run: Kate goes to visit her dying mother and meets her ex-boyfriend, who is now a doctor at the same hospital. He helps her see visit her mother, but she starts screaming when Kate arrives, and she has to run out. While escaping, she meets Tom who gives her his car keys and they try to escape together. Kate drives into a police car in an attempt to knock it out of the way (they are firing at her) but they then crash into another car (a gold one). She sees Tom has been killed and flees from the scene.

Tabula Rasa: Kate is found sleeping by Ray, a farmer, in his barn. She is offered a job by Ray which she accepts. After working there for several months, she leaves the farm, but she learns while being given a lift by Ray, that he intends to turn her in as she sees the marshal behind her. In an attempt to escape she pulls at the wheel and the car crashes off the road. She sacrifices her escape by saving an injured Ray.

I believe this is the order anyway.

Sayid
Solitary - Sayid leaves the main camp because as he says "I made promise and is I can't keep that promise, I shouldn't be here". Sayid finds the cable running from the ocean into the jungle and follows it, which leads him to the trap Rousseau set, she finds him knocks him out and ties him up thinking him to be one of the others... Sayid flash backs to torturing a suspected terrorist, who he establishes doesn't know anything, then he sees Nadia being brought in for questioning, he is sent to attempt to get information out of her, but she refuses... Nadia tells Sayid that she knew him when they were younger... Sayid keeps Nadia locked up in a large room, but can't get her to talk to him, she says that she won't talk, we are given the impression that Sayid is going to torture her, and later execute her, but instead he has made plans for her to escape, his boss discovers them so Sayid shoots him, Sayid shoots himself in the leg, Nadia escapes...

The Greater Good - After Boone has died... Shannon becomes convinced that Locke is responsible, so asks Sayid to "do something about that"... Sayid questions Locke about the accident that caused Boone's death... In the flash back Sayid is being "escorted" by two men in suits through an airport (which I think turns out to be in London) a woman and a man(who's names escape me) are talking to Sayid... they ask him to infiltrate a "terrorist cell" he says No, but then they claim to know where Nadia is, Sayid is in a mosque praying, he starts talking to a man (I think he is called Hassad) he meets there and it is discovered that they know one another, he becomes friends with the man, who lives with two other muslim men, Hassad tells Sayid that his fiance was killed by a bomb while shopping for a dress and that he is to become a martyr but isn't sure its the right thing to do, because of the loss of innocent life, Sayid tells the CIA/ASIS that Hassad isn't really part of the terrorist cell, but they say Sayid has to convince Hassad that it is the right thing to do, Sayid convinces Hassad by telling him that he is doing it for his fiance and that he understands because he lost someone too. Hassad asks Sayid to do it with him, Sayid is picked up by the terrorists and taken to a van he and Hassad are about to leave when Sayid tells Hassad to stop, and tells him that he has been working for CIA, Hassad turns the gun on Sayid but then turns the gun on himself and saying "I thought you were my friend" and shoots himself. Sayid is scheduled to fly the day before Oceanic flight 815 is due to leave, but stays a day longer so Hassad can be buried properly and gets on flight 815 the next day.

Sorry I didn't realise my post would be this long, I don't think there are any more Sayid flash backs, except the one on the plane and the flashback scene on the extras DVD.

Bah, I shouldn't have started writing, stop, then start writing again two hours later.

Might I add, that in my post, the pilot episode should obviously be last as it is the most recent (they're on the plane).

It's peculiar that Kate has more flashback episodes than other charactors who appear to be more important to the storyline, like Locke and Malt.

I agree Him... Maybe we underestimate her what with Jack and Locke and all.

It is worth remember that the original plans for the show involved Jack getting killed instead of the pilot? Kate would proabaly have been the leader then...
