Coincidence? I think not. The Others have, quite obviously captured the basilk and are using it as a venom-gun.
That's annoyingly, yet interestingly coincedental... where do you get these things from?

Im looking for the whispers on the web. So far ive only got the whispers in the ? episode, in the autopsy. Its actually quite interesting as the 'dead' girl is saying 'John' 'let John Locke go on'! Anyway ill keep going!

Those aren't whispers, that's hidden audio and the debate is still on as to whether they are actually there or not. It's VERY important to not get the whispers mixed up with the hidden audio, they are completely different things.
Personally I can't hear anything unless I've been told what I'm supposed to hear, and that makes me extremely dubious.
i was wondering why they're have tranquilizing darts on the island! It was raelly weird, i had a dream about being shot with a tranquilizing dart the night afterwards!!
They weren't poisoned darts though, those were tazers, maybe an unconventional type of tazer that's effective over a greater distance, but definitely tazers.
Poison doesn't go bzzzzzzzzzz.
Now, having given them creative license enough to have 'new' tazers then they could certainly have developed weird electro-nuero toxins, but if it looks like an electric shock and sounds like an electric shock, then you gotta start suspecting tazers, plus you can see them holding some weird handheld tazer-esque devices on the Pala Ferry pier.

That's why I called them unconventional, lets say they are remotely operated tazers able to give a shock witout a wire somehow.
I don't think that would be that out-there an invention, a small dart could be made to hold the charge and release it on command via remote, I think...
yes the whispers definately said elizabeth. i had subtitles on and it that was all that came up when the whispers were going on. so i watched it again and it definately said elizabeth. its interesting al lthe other things said though.

we'll prob know what whispers are in DVDs as it was the same for last series if you put on subtitles and they tell you, i used it for Sawyer/boar episode with the whole 'it'll come back around' thing. I'll try subtitles with second series.
damn it, you know it all. i guess i should have tried subtitles on other episodes. i don't remember that many whispers. so you can't hear Sayid's then? maybe i'll check when i get home. is it because he's Iraqi? different language and everything.
There are no whispers while Sayid is in Iraq but he does hear them in the jungle during Solitary...
