Which of the survivors have killed before they were in the crash?

Sayid was in the army and tortured people for a living (why has no one asked what an Indian was doing in Iraq..?)

Walt's mother died and there was that bird and the car crash too.

Sawyer shot someone he thought was a killer.

Kate killed a man she didnt know was her father

Ana-Lucia killed the man who killed her unborn child

Jack let a man die to save the woman he later married

Jin was a hired thug and enforcer so probably killed someone, he beat someone up.

there is another i can think of, but for the none E4 people have I missed any killers?

That is a lot of death for a "random" collection of people.

oh and Kate kileld her best friend in a car crash.

I have always thought this, that they have nearly all killed someone. There is also Hurley with his granddad, but that wasn't intentional.

Sayid shot and killed his friend/boss who was about to shot Nadia in Solitary.

But I doubt Jin ever killed anyone. He seemed to feel disgusted enough at himself for beating the man up. He was supposed to kill him but only attacked him instead.

But the thing is that I don't think it is a random assortment of people, everyone is on the island for a reason and (not talking about purgatory) Sun suggested they were there to be punished for what they had done in the past.

Yes , I found what Sun said about being punished very interesting . She's on fates case . And imo , this is a very possible reason as to why their on the island . Many of them being punished for the crime of murder that they've commited .

Sawyer shot someone he thought was a killer. Sawyer was taking revenge for his parents death, and although he was tricked into killing Frank, who was the wrong man, I understand why he did this. I will never be angry at him for it!

Ana-Lucia killed the man who killed her unborn child Again I can understand why she did it, and like Sawyer I support her actions.

Jack let a man die to save the woman he later married He would have made decisions like this everyday...nothing wrong with it. Besides, at the time he never knew he would marry Sarah.

She saved the farmers life, and probably the bank managers.

As a police officer she must have saved a lot of lives too.

He's a doctor so he obviously saved loads of lives, but he also saved Charlie and Locke out of the hospital and job.

when he beat the guy up it was so the other guy didn't kill him so in fact he saved his life.

I don't think they're there for the bad things they've done as even the people who seem to be bad, like Kate and Sawyer, all seem to have done good things too. Having said that we don't know the flashbacks for the quieter people and apparantly they are the worst, so who knows???
