Im just waiting for the day that Ana Lucia becomes friends with Locke [only a prediction]..and then every DOL will warm to her

I dont think he will like her.... I think he will like the black guy.
He seems "calm" and almost comfortable on the island just like Locke. He doesn't seem stressed like AL and the blonde. (I am not saying names on purpose coz dont know if those C4 folkes know all the tailenders by name yet).

Us C4ers know about a girl called Libby if that's who you mean. I doubt Locke will warm to Ana Lucia Roco. Sorry!

Locke is far to clever to want anything to do with her! I can see him dishing out his pearls of wisdom to her a little like he does with Sawyer though!

I think AL is a bit too forceful for Locke, and even though Locke may appreciate certain qualities in her [like her pretence at being thrown down the pit in order to get info from Sayer and co.], I can't see them becoming very close.
I'm willing to admit that I may grow to like AL in future, but at the moment she sets my teeth on edge!

I would have liked to see Locke spend more time with Desmond, but he's done a runner now!

SAME DESMOND WAS KOOL! Erm what I don't like about Ana Lucia is she thinks she is cleverer than our losties!

I agree that Locke would have wanted to spend some time with Desmond, more so as Desmond recognised Jack!

Apart from being lovely, I thought that Desmond had a lot of potential as a character and that he could have played a bigger part. I live in hope that he will return!

I just don't like AL's aggressive manner - OK I admit that she may have experienced something in her past to make her act like that, but imo there is just no excuse for rudeness and a complete lack of common curtesy.

Tis a shame that Locke has turned into nothing but a button pusher, bit like a pen pusher but a little more boring.

At least Jack seems to refuse to be trapped by a button and to be looking at the bigger picture.

Erm...isn't Jack just weak then because he is going against what he believes in to be a button pusher. At least Locke believes it's for a purpose. Jack is doing it for no reason.

But you could argue that Jack has fallen into the very trap he was fighting to escape from. He didn't hesistate to leave Locke in the hatch after Desmond did a runner, but then, for whatever reason, comes back to the hatch to tell everyone the numbers to be entered.

He then caves in to Locke's pleas for help, and so he pushes the button. Yes he may have only pushed the button because he is a good person and felt for Locke and wanted to help him, but it could also be argued that unlike Locke, Jack's steadfast belief in something can be broken. But then again that may not be a bad thing.

He isn't really though. In EHH he said that his job was to convince other people to push the button, and he has been out and wandering (conversations with Charlie, Sun) so he hasn't exactly been stuck down there.
