The one by Black Horse has been posted on the LC as well, word by word. I don't remember who posted it, but the member in question was honest enough to admit he/she had taken it from somewhere else. And its not from Black Horse. This guy - whoever he is - is stealing stuff from other people trying to take the glory for himself.

Having said that, I love the theory, and actually is much better explained in the top post imo. What I really like about it is that the flashback crossovers suddently make sense in this theory.

Anyone seen K-Pax? (It's a little gem of a movie, anyway...) that theory is actually identified at the end of that movie by this quote:

I wasn’t buying this theory until I got to the part where it was Charlie who programmed in good vibrations - if he means he will be back again (alive) then I think I can believe it

And Apu, again I've got so many questions with your post, and again it sounds amazing. I've seen adverts for that movie, actually I think I saw the last few minutes of it ages ago.

But in any event, whoever wrote this theory is a legend. What I love the most is the bit at the end which says Lost will end with a bang and not some sad soppy ending! I find it only fitting the "the end result" of whatever this show is about and what's happening on the island [which the theory explained] will be explained at the very end, that's powerful stuff!!

Yes I've read this on the LC too. I think brad said he got it from the "Dark UFO" website but I could be wrong.

It also reminds me of "Deja Vu" for which I made a thread in the LC movie review section. Oh if only I could go back to that!

If Lost ends with a bang - meaning we get it explained in the end - then Charlie won't be back next season, because they would have to explain the whole concept there and then. Thats the one bit of this theory that I think is wrong.

And... Watch out for K-Pax on your telly like today or tomorrow or the day after or.... It was on one of the freeview movie channels the other day, and they tend to do reruns within a few days.

Wait a sec, do you suppose all of that was from the Producers and is an actual Spoiler? It's a long shot but what if....

Well Charlie's dead for sure... and would only appear in visions/flashbacks imo. Why exactly don't you think Charlie won't be back in relation to the theory?

I don't! OK then, lets give this guy the benefit of a doubt. Only thing is, about this time last year when I first joined this board, I was on the main board for a while. And there was a lot of plagiarism going on, I can tell you. That, and spoilers. So then I discovered the C4_SF and then the LC.


Speaking of which - I have the horrible horrible gut feeling that we will have to adjust to life without the LC. This LoCkdown is NOT normal, something really bad has happened and its completely out of Roccos control.

How did you know it was plagiarism?

Well, you read posts by people that are just one liners with spelling errors, and then suddently they burst into pages of well written text? Just read what this guy had to say AFTER he posted that post. Nothing! He does not understand or care about this theory to discuss it properly. All he cares about is to be seen with it. The author is not him, I tells ya!

Another giveaway is where these plagiarists get their cultural references from. Is it the US where the majority of Lost posters live, or the UK?

Hmmm you sound convincing, though maybe after some intense debating, he ended the post with some chit-chat-esque talk. But you could be right. Though to his defence, hardly anyone is interested in discussing it with him. Though a few of us mentioned several LC members posted his theory months ago which makes me believe he's reposted his theory, maybe because he isn't getting good debates or because he simply wants to claim for credit for someone else's work, who really knows.

Though I'm not sure why someone would based their reputation on one theory, because one theory doesn't make a great forumer or Lost debater. It's a constant flow of good debating that people will remember and not "oh look it's that guy who made those 3 awesome theories".

Now what they would need to do is re-run that episode in the Looking Class just this time Desmond saves Charlie. So let's say they don't explain that, and its one of those moments. I am not taking credit for all of it!

I have used several other peoples theories and added my own opinions to them. I am also a member of other forums not just this one. I have posted my other space time theory elsewhere too.

I don't come here to get 'credit' from other forumers I come here to debate and theorise and say hello to those that I have become fond of over S1, 2 and 3.

I thought it was very nice that I was awarded something for my time here, like other members who are here alot were too.

It upsets me that you are here debating whether I have 'stolen' someone elses ideas and not debating the theory itself.

And as for my 'chit chat' don't we all do that? Although I do save most of mine for BB.

It is quiet here and if I choose to post elsewhere to get some sort of debate going

Hey man, I tried not jumping to conclusions, though hundredand8 obviously sticks to his story. I did say to him I wasn't 100% buying his story.

Sorry, what I meant to say was...

I have read many a lost theory (I am from the C4 Lost forum - erm, not spoiler free, whatever it may be called - Hi! ) and some of them cross over with others, some of them I have read almost exactly the same somewhere else before.

There are bound to be people coming up with similar or even the same ideas, sometimes it is a merger of lots of other peoples ideas, sometimes it isnt. so what? No one can possibly read every theory on every forum before they post, so it may well have been posted before.

I enjoy reading all the theories, admittedly I have a little giggle at some of em but hey, until the ending is screened, who knows!!!!

This particular one is a goodun, imho, dont care who came up with it, or when, or how. I like it, I like it alot
