Didnt Jesus spend forty days and forty nights in the desert? I cant remember, but I dont think it was 40 days of silence. Its just that 40 days is associated with Christianity?

There's loads of references to 40 days in the bible; moses in the mount (Exodus 24:10-18) , A woman bearing a male child was to endure 40 days in her purification (Leviticus chapter 12) , Israelites searched for the promised land for 40 days (Numbers chapter 13/14). There are loads of diferent examples but, ooo, we've already got two books citing 40 days that also give their name to episodes!!!

40 days is also a solar year but don't know if this would be relevant???

the 40 days that jesus undertook in the desert was a fast. he did speak during the 40 days.

also it is fascinating that ecko may be connected to the drug smugglers. after all he is african aswell, and seems very religious. perhaps he too was dressed as a priest. you dont think that he could have killed boone do you. did anyone see who was there when bernard picked up the signal. was ecko around.
