Certain "things" started to come back to her..but no, i dont recall her ever totally remembering..otherwise she would've told them about Ethan and all that stuff.

I'd forgotten about this. Apparently, therefore, the "Others" have some technique for causing amnesia in their abductees (which makes it all the more likely that "Walt" who is chatting on the Apple Mac is actually bait for a trap).

After a season's worth of episodes since her "Homecoming", that would be really really cheap, though I'm not sure that I'd put it past the writers...

Maybe the others managed to make some kind of sedative from plants on the island like Locke made that hallocenogenic paste. The others could have kept Claire doped up on sedatives then and she may not have remembered events afterwards.
