Ive posted a thread on this but sorta got lost Ninja If it reemerges ignroe this one

Ok you remember that freak deak advert that attracted us to this show in the first place which made a lot of us - myself included think "hmmm what the bleeding heck is this, I gotta watch this show" The one with them all dancing around and those voices going "one of us is a..." and one of the things said was "one of us is a cop" could this have been a future reference to Ana Lucia?

I think that's most likely, esn. Good Call. More intriguingly though: Who is the saint? Who is the martyr? What are they all guilty of? Why is Locke composing?

One particular point there though - If being a martyr is choosing death over renouncing faith, I'm worried for Locke. :P

Surely when you think about it, that advert was made to promote Season 1 at the start, at the rate that they were making episodes, in that they were only a few episodes ahead in filming (bearing in mind i'm thinking about it's US airing) that ad could've been done within the first 8 episodes or so, so future scripts hadn't been made... they didn't even know if they were going to get the go-ahead for season 2, and seeing thoug Ana didn't get a mention till the very end of season 1, so i'm sure she's not the cop in question, it would've been the marshall or a slim refference to one of the other characters..

Jaded Ben - this advert was only shown as promotion in the U.K. last year before it started in August. So I pressume it was filmed around the same time last year. The Americans got a different promo ad (which apparently wasn't anywhere near as good as ours).

They were most probably filming this ad the same time they were filming Season 2 (after Ana Lucia had been introduced to the show). So it is possible that they were referring to Ana Lucia.

The martyr one is an interesting one. A reference to Locke?!

I don't know if in that version they show Walt, but I have the full version on my computer, and he and Locke are doing the composing thing. And I think it kinda shows that they are 'one' with the Island. They both announced in S1 that they liked being on the Island.. so..

Well I'm not sure they've all been accounted for. Who's the saint, who's the martyr and what they all guilty of and why is this so? :P

I think that A-L being a cop is the only sensible conclusion we can come to for 'one of us is a cop. Maybe that means there are other things that haven't been revealed yet in the advert? :P

That's a very interesting advert ! And yeah , it looks like we've finally found our cop . I didn't see that advert until half way through series 1 myself but it was still very interesting . I still think we need match up a few of them though . Wow , even the Lost promotion advert has mysteries to solve !

Boone and Shannon both died for the good of other people, so they could be classed asa martyr?? Junkie makes you think of drigs, so Charlie is an obvious choice, but I think most of the characters are addicted to something, Jack has to save people, Locke has to follow his destiny, Kate has to know everything, Charlie has to be accepted, Hurley needs to know about the numbers.....
