I mentioned this in my earlier post....someone else asked me that in RL. I don't get that though, I mean, the person had already crashed when Des altered the course of events so, it was who it was, if that makes sense. To say that Des altering what happened meant that the woman was Penny but then turned into someone else. It's just crazy talk....crazy I tells you! I don't buy it.

I knew someone did, I couldn't find it, lol. Sorry  . I kinda think it's a cool idea, that by altering one thing, the big picture changes...like people have mentioned in this thread, "The Butterfly Effect"...tis cool. But, like you, I don't know if it would work. And I don't know if I CAN believe it. Requires too much faith on my part.

sorry peeps, went off on one yesterday, weren't anything personal. I just guess reading through the official eppy threads over at LC can sort of turn everything into a downer as it's a majority vote of people disliking eppies with such hatred lol. I guess I just wish people would talk about the good. I like pretty much all the characters, I'm patient as far as revelations go these days and I try to enjoy Lost. So you can see why such negativism - [is that even a word?] - can grow old. Lol esn relax man, it weren't anything personal, it was more every week someone or other says an eppy was Filler. Like I said, I went off on one, I weren't angry per say, just frustrated. Anyoo gunna post a little bit more later on about this eppy, lol even though I've already posted an essay or two ... but sorry to offend anyone  I guess it's the same way Other fans get tired of Other bashing, Lostee fans get tired of Lostee bashing and Lost fans get tired of Lost bashing LOL.

No, I'm not sure I can either. I'm a mixture of faith and science....they have to complement each other. BUT, this just seems too wacko for me. Maybe I don't understand enough about it but didn't we learn in Flashes that the universe will simply 'course correct' even if someone alters a chain of events? Thus meaning that if Penny had been supposed to land on the island, then she still will at some point? Sorry if this has been mentioned already, I haven't had the time to read the entire thread  .
