Some more thoughts on this episode. Not sure if anyone will read this but I guess it's comforting to know that SOMEONE will and they'll take something away from it

Lol I completely forgot about Jin's ghost story, that was so damn funny!, I love how Hurley was scared senseless ha ha. Lol nice translation Malion.

Hmm the thing is EC, take KoR's and Murg's [among others'] reviews, even when I find an episode average, I'll read their reviews and be blown away by what they loved about the episode. I guess we all like different episodes and are motivated by different things. Well as for the music, Desmond has his own Lost 'Score Music', of which we only hear in his episodes. I think the next episode will pick up straight off from the last as it's too big a plot to simply leave for a few episodes. That is of course... unless we're taken to an episode with Locke and the Others with no beach eaction. I wonder what the Others think about this helicopter business, if indeed they even know about it. I suppose there's always the chance she'll die in the next episode. Hmm but what I meant EC is that the events ended up exactly the same even though Desmond acted upon his vision, hence presumably changing the future if you get me? Like I said I take it that Desmond's visions only actually happen if he makes them happen. And while you haven't enjoyed S3, I think it's admirable that you don't slice and dice it to pieces like many others do, hence ruining the pleasure of reading people posts after an episode. Though people are entitled to their opinions and that's that.

Surely this finale has to deliver on a much grander scale, it's about time we had an amazing finale, as the last two were let downs imo. I appreciated them upon rewatching them though. I'm sure we'll get a pretty big answer for this Season's finale.

Oooooo very interesting stuff SP about the Penny-Helmet thing, but I don't see how Desmond could change such a thing. I actually loved the Jack/Kate scene, I like them both very much, lol Sawyer DOES have feelings for her, that much is obvious. I think it'd be kinda cool if the pilot suffered amnesia as it would delay the mystery a tad more about how she and Penny found the island.

And yes esn, I agree with all you said there, I too enjoy Filler episodes though back in the day I hated F&W, however I now like it as I have a different mind-set now toward Lost. Lots of people hated Everybody Hates Hugo, and yeah it weren't great but I enjoyed it very much.

And Beachy, what's faith got to do with time-travel? It's science! And what do you mean you haven't read it all!! I'm spending my last little bit of time left on Earth typing all this mumble jumble and no one's reading!

Faith has everything to do with time-travel. anyone can say they're from the future. Or that by not doing something it'll change something else in the future....but you've gotta have faith to believe them when they say that.

She might as well have done! And he might as well as be. She's using him. She's going to dump him as soon as Jack looks her way again! He loves her, but she don't love him. Yes, she as some feelings for him, but love. I doubt it. Well who wouldn't....but what I mean is, she shouldn't have used him. Sawyer's fragile. He may not look it, but he is. His heart can't take many more breaks! What pun? Lol. Yes, he loves her (and that bit made me cry) but she doesn't love him! Felt sorry? I didn't see a single bit of remorse.

But even when using that term - leftovers - she does like Sawyer still. I mean put this in a real life sutation. The guy of your dreams has been taken,,...and your second choice is in the next room. Wouldn't you make a move and find love with that 2nd choice and forget about yor 1st choice? What, so just because your first choice is taken you're supposed to rot and die?
I don't care if she likes him, she's being mean to him. She's just waiting for Jack to come back to her. Perhaps I would, yes. I'd go for the 2nd guy. But the thing is, Jack ain't taken. and I wouldn't just drop the guy I chose coz the other one became available! No, you're not supposed to just rot and die *Rolls eyes* but surely it's better to wait, rather than break someone's heart in the process of getting what you want?

Exactly, that's what I'm getting at. She's gonna drop Sawyer the second she gets chance.

But just remember, life is all complicated, twisted and weird, and so I can't really slam her too much for using Sawyer simply because she has some feelings for him. Life is too complicated sometimes. And too hurtful. And it just drives me crazy to see her messing around with someone's feelings. Yes, she has feelings with him, but Sawyer loves her. she knows that...he told her. Where are her morals?!

I know what you mean I do try and look for positives I like you sometimes read peoples posts and think well why did you bother watching it - its just Lost is my favourite show and sometimes I guess I expect too much from it

Sometimes I do post my comments (on the LC) in the hope that people will comment on my comments giving their views that could possibly change my views so that I can enjoy it better (if that makes sense) like quite often you read stuff and see people have interpreted shows in a completely different light to other peoples interpretations so I am open to taking other peoples thought patterns on board

I liked last two finales but have to say the S3 beginning did make the S2 finale less enjoyable if you can understand that

Although he didn’t know that she had come to him straight after the Jack and Juliet thing I think he did realise it wasn’t just because she wanted to “be with” him but I think (don’t have a go at me about this Beachy just my thoughts on the matter) that he doesn’t mind that. I think he will happily take Kate just as long as she doesn’t think that he doesn’t know about how she feels about Kate. I think he possibly thinks the has (I hate to use such a cheesy expression) his sole mate in her seeing as how both their pre island relationships with other partners have been very similar she has obviously been with men she doesn’t care about and then had to leave the one she married and lost the one she loved and he has been with women he didn’t love and had to leave Cassidy.

The whole time changing thing

Some people think that had Desmond not saved Charlie then parachutist would have been Penny but they found the back pack with Portuguese book in it before Desmond saved Charlie. If it was Penny up until the point Charlie was saved then surely Penny wouldn’t have had a book in Portuguese

You spoke of Cassidy, the only woman I beleive Sawyer ever truly loved, and I think he's trying to re-create that with Kate. But Jack's in the way. And will keep getting in the way. Kate is never gonna give up on her love for Jack...and so Sawyer is never going to fully have her heart. Poor lamb.
