So far the pictures that I have seen of skins are very exciting, I really hope that Skins urns out the be a really innovated show based around very good writing and has real sense of freshness. My fear if that it will be a case of style over substance as new look AS IF, which would be very weak.

Shows that are based around using different central characters to take you on there journey are now becoming a bit stale.

I do take my hat off to the commissioner as this show looks like it will takle real issue facing 17 yo, today and lets face it that’s stuff is very hard hitting let hope they do not disappoint

i personally enjoyed As If. i thought it had some really good story lines, although the camera angles and the quick shots i didnt like so much.
i felt like i was having some sort of fit.


from what i have seen, trailors and photos from the set, it looks both stylish and srtong in story line.
i cannot wait for it to air.

ii also liked AS IF, and i think skins will be much better than AS IF and the best program on tv while its on.

i think its staying to just e4 but your never know...., and your right. there is not a person who is over weight. maybe they will bring someone in later to fill the place.

yeah exactly, and that really annoys me. It is possible for someone overweight to be beautiful, ok so it's not most peoples ideas of beauty but they should still be represented!

well i think these statements are very true.you never see an overweight person?and obviously a show such as this one should be promoting acceptance and giving that message to us younger generations that people who arn't stick thin are actually human beings too.now i probably won't ever get to see this show cos well, little old me lives in Australia and we get everything last or not at all.so all you pommies enjoy this show while i sit and watch my crappy aussie telly. now why on earth would a stupid aussie join a pommie site?..well that is something i would like to be able to answer..what the hell am i doing here?
