i love skins cos most of the characters remind me of my friends in very weird ways. Was so gutted about it ending but hope that this new series they may be making around effi will be just as good.

My favourite ep has to be chris' funeral. SOunds twisted as it was sad but at the same time it was v good how they managed to add a sense of comedy to it... I found everytime i felt like crying i would soon be laughing!!!

I like Skins because I think it's just amazing and funny. I liked both seasons but I preferred season 2

I like the lack of preaching and "issue of the week" style of addressing problems seen in most teen dramas. There's drug use, but it's not a giant anti-drug campaign. There was mental instability shown without an immediate swooping down of the pill parade to fix it and make the character all better.

It was a show about teens that didn't purely revolve around love affairs, with real issues only ever making a week-long appearance so they could be fixed. I've never felt like Skins was trying to teach me how to live, what life should really be. It's entertainment without a warped attempt at education, and has good writing and performances to boot.

The actors are good, and it's an escape from realaity but realistic at the same time, if that makes sense.

I don't know what series I prefer, they were both good, but possibly series 1
