Do you think that the teenagers represented in drama's like 'Skins' and 'Sugar Rush' are actually accurate of real life teenagers?
Just wanted to know what peoples oponions are on this! Please let me know what you think!

I think to a degree they represent a type of teenager, first of all not all teenagers are druged up, sex maniacs with a lack of morals.
The teenagers are created to entertain the audience and thats what they do.
real life in a program is completly different to our version of real life, tiz a shame really.

Everyone is different and so all teenagers (in the UK) are not I don't think represented by this.

Wierd as it sounds it might actually be an aspirational vision of teenage life. Hence the reason the cast has to all be slim, carefree and reasonably attractive! I think it's just the typical representation of people's expectations of youth and what they get up to!

I think to a certain degree it can reflect teenage life with certain mannerisms however i dont think all teenagers are druggies and sex mad!

I think it is easy for teenagers to relate as they can see the elements of peer pressure and social effects that teenagers face!!
