I was quite lucky, was there at 10 was in and registered by 11 (y)

the audition was well random, and i think slightly unfair.

basically we had to do improvised stuff.
we were put into groups of 4, then given a situation. Such as "person 1 is pregnant, with person 2's brothers baby, person 3 knows person 2's brother is cheating on person 1, person 4 is just randomly happy about everything"
then half way though the impro, the casting director just decides to change the character
like "person 2 is now pregnant and wants to keep the baby, talk about it"

then 2 random people got chosen from 2 different groups to have another situation, then they got chosen for the next round...

everyone else got sent home and told they might be called about extra work.

No one else really had chance to show off much or anything


well wierd.

but yea i was out by half 11.


what did everyone else think?



oh and Mike Bailey was there...randomly wondering...getting pissed off with people calling him Sid, and chatting to old college mates.

yeh i saw mike lol was kewwl!!! i was there at half 10 !! same fing with the impro! the guys seemed proper chuffed with me tho, but stilL!

It was good fun. Didnt take long at all was gone by 10.20am. 30 mins getting people with papers and photo which I expected and 10 mins improv. I was in the front of the queue. Everybody is nice and its soo serial! Did not see Mike Bailey was there WAY to early (up at 6am dudes!).

Wish I got through to the 2nd call I wanted it so bad... guess its back to extra work in films, which isnt bad but hardly my dream.

No but they will do call backs for smaller characters. so still hope! Fingers crossed.

I wanted to get to the second round so badly. My friend did and she didnt care which sucked really for me as I wanted it but hey.

Yes was very very very random but fun. I didnt see mike bailey was probs there too early! haha

when you go to auditions that do furthur call backs they always do note making etc, i saw no one making notes or anything...

so unless they do random all backs i have no idea how its gonna work.


yea my mate went through to the second round, most of it was based around looks thou, the people in my group who got through were dressed mad...and when i went to go see my mate, everyone in the room was pretty much.
He was wearing furry trousers and a patchwork waistcoat (y)

lol The girl who got through on my round was wearing short short and thigh highs nude/sheer socks things.... in the cold and rain and a tank top. Random. lol

I am guessing its so they dont have to audition further for minor roles later, or possibly for extra work, meaning they dont have to really go through extra companies like Phenix and Maddog. I dont know how it works exactly for minor roles, you probs have to have a screen test etc first. But usually especially for extra work (that I know from experience), you just get a phone call and arrive on location with your own wardrobe usually for a certain time and get paid for walking or sitting where they say.

so is the second round with the scripts and interviews on the same day?? or do you get told to come back on another day ?

same day though you may have to wait there if you there early for hours or there late a hour or 2 lol but it will be fun loadsa people to talk to.

I'm only 14 so couldn't audition i was soo upset!

Im new on here but i saw you all talking about skins auditions i thought i had to mention something
i did my audition and they ask me and this boy to stay behnd...they said 'give us your forms and well give you a call in a weeks time and well done'
i havent heard anything and its been two weeks...no idea what it meant :S
