Wow, I was blown away, everything about Skins is perfect! It had real life stories that we teens have...well maybe not all of them lol but I think it will the best thing on tele i've ever seen.
Hope Series Two is just as good or even better! Well Done to the creators!
I thought it was amazing. I really did. The comedy was hilarious and perfectly timed, and at the same time it was very realistic and showed the emotional rollercoaster that is teenage life! -brillient! nice one x
I thought it was great, certainly got better towards the end (episode 6 was fantastic :3). I thought it started off a bit slow though, but that could have been because I didn't realise I'd started watching from the first episode until around the third episode ^^;
I loved series one... finally a decent drama about what being a teenager in britain is ACTUALLY like! I love American stuff like the OC but the characters are all so "clean" and too pretty! Skins makes me so nostalgic though as I'm old now (25) and it just serves to remind me that my own teenage experiences are nearly a decade ago! And hey to all the peeps talking about watching it with your mums and how they don't get it... I'm someone's mother! ok my wee girl doesn't watch it (she's only 7) but i like to think it won't be a problem when she's older... i used to watch "queer as folk" and "this life" with my mum!

Eh, I must have had a sheltered "teenage-hood" hehe. I certainly don't remember mine being like that (although seeing Sid trying so hard to get that essay done reminded me of how crap all that coursework was .__.).
Um well... perhaps my friends and i were somewhat un-sheltered... I remember one bloke i knew jumping out of a 3rd storey window and shattering both of his legs cos his dealer came at him with a knife!
I wasn't quite that mental myself you understand... though the michelle/tony storyline is like the skins writers read my diary for 1998 as my boyfriend at the time was exactly like that!
I thought it was soo gd! cant wait 4 series 2! only thing is tho, i think they should of kept effy silent, until she screamed out 'tony' when he got hit. i duno...
