Does anyone have any good ideas for raising money for charity? I'm trying to think of some ideas that will not be too difficult to organise, but that will help to raise some money for charity.
Any ideas would be greatly appriciated, whatever they are.
Thanks.

Hey Man, Whateva's wrong wit you, it's no little ting...
Feel the rhythm, feel the rhyme, get on up, it's bobsled time... Cool Runnings!
If you are talking about small events, the usual approach is small items. These don't cost much to produce and mwean that the buyer doesn't have to fork out much.
Tea/coffee, cakes, quizzes, small glass bottles filled with sweets (from a bigger box), home made cards, second hand books etc.
depending on which charity u r....many companies r usually only too pleased to get involved with charity work. ask ur local golf club to hold a golf day ask a local restaurant for meal for two for raffle etc, family funday, car boot sales, auctions etc .
A raffle is a very easy thing to organise and can make lots of money. I'm sure you'd be able to get some good prizes donated as it's for charity... Or maybe organise an event and also do a raffle. Or maybe a sponsored walk, pub crawl or something...x
My aunty held an event at her house for MS Charity. She has MS and got all her friends round, she makes homemade cards and does decoupage (sp?) pictures and she sold these, and raffled loads of stuff that local shops donated. She had gone round the shops a few weeks before with all her MS stuff saying she has having a charity event and they were only too happy to help. Free adverstising for them as she got a picture in the local paper! Huge cuddly teddy bears, nice sets with duvets and sheets in, a meal for 2 in a resturant, boxes of chocolates etc. She charged people for tea and coffee, and if you are doing it at xmas you could do xmas cake and mince pies and charge for these as well. She made £500 in one afternoon!
