I got mine last year from my bank Lloys TSB. They don't charge anything. Did it all online and picked them up a few days later. Don't know what other places charge .

Check out post office and various travel agents for their rates, or do as I do and use your bank account and draw out cash when you are there. Most banks charge for this but I believe Nationwide I think it is don't charge at all. It's safer than having lots of cash with you. You could open an account just for holiday money and away you go.
