Hi Brendbowley, what is OCD? I have a problem with running up hidden debt, Hubby bailed me out once and I thought I would never do it again but I am back in the same situ but with more debt. I have run up credit & store cards but I don't even know what I have spent it on. I scared of him finding out but it will inevitably happen and it will probably be the end of our marriage. Do you know if there is any counsellors out there (a bit like AA for alcholics. I am managing to pay my debts, I don't want debt management as such but could do with some professional help to help me not get into the same situ again. Thanks for listening. Take care x
Hi We need help ! We have alot of debt ! A loan on the house is about £55OOO and more debt of about £15000 Trying to hold it all together and keep food on the table ! Family dont know we are in the situation! Balliffs came on friday we ignored the door but theres so long we can do that! We had to tell my 10 year old daughter on friday becuace she dont know we ignore the phone calls ! Scared of loosing the house and ending up on the streets ! We know we need our familys help but to proud to let them down ! We tryed To make a normal life after finding out I was pregnant and making a life for her together with only one job and a baby on the way ! Really sorry to hear about your debt problems. Please don't worry too much about bailiffs or debt collectors coming to your door. Yes, it isn't nice - but be assured, they cannot just barge in and take your belongings to reclaim the debt. This article I found explains exactly what they can and can't do:Click here
