In any ones opinion what is the best mobile on the market at the moment. I am looking to upgrade from my old hat sharp gx30.

I have a sony ericcson w550i, it is fantastic.

Just get the most basic one possible… forget all the stupid gadgets; they are for ladyboys.

Nokia 1100. No cameras, MP3s, videos and it has really simple navigation. We have them as standard issue in the office and they are brilliant. Battery life is measured in weeks.

I currently have a Sony and the navigation system is awful - for most operations you need three presses of buttons where one would do.

i can understand the mess about with navigation and some phones having way too many gadgets, but we all love a gadget now and then, don't we?

I want a phone with mp3 ringtones, I have loads of good ones I could use.

My phone is vodafone and I understand they don't do any phones like that, they disable it, I could be wrong, but its like that on my sharp gx30.

I have no idea what my phone is except that it is a Nokia.

who is this mythical pierre bloke, he seems more clued up than any of us?

I recently got a Sony - Ericsson W800i and its great. Its easy to use and has loads of good features like a radio which comes in very handy on my train journeys to work!
