Don't know much about you Age, Qualification ect. but there are companies who hire people albiet on a job to job basis for things like Editing and Proof reading and if you can get your act together with the right products there's always good old E-Bay although this would mean some capital out lay

Thanks for your advice. I'm 25, work full-time and am educated to HNC level. Not sure if my grammar would be good enough to proof-read. Any links?
I do sell my old books, CDs and videos on Amazon but I'm an ebay virgin. What kind of thing would be profitable to sell?
I got married last year and put a few grand of the costs on a 0% credit card. Want to clear it sooner rather than later.

I enquired about proof reading and they wanted money up front as well. I am too wary of sending anyone money as if they needed people to work and pay they wouldn't need that small amount of 'start up' money would they? I registered to do online surveys and research with Ciao and some others but did that weeks ago and haven't received any surveys at all to complete. Car boot sales? I know people who have made a fair bit doing these regularly. Also people are quite willing sometimes to offload the things they want to get rid of but don't want to do the sale themselves. Bits and bobs you can get from friends and family and they might not want the money from you. Like I said, I've looked into this myself and found nothing that doesn't seem to involve some sort of outlay, whether that's in the form of stock if you are selling, or so called 'instructions' or help guides to do other things.
