I'm researching starting a clothes label and am finding it really hard to find out how much commision on average most retailers add on. I need to know this as i'm on the final 'pricing'stage of my business plan and need to know what a reasonable price to sell to them at would be. But i'm finding it hard to obtain this information. If anyone could help me please do, i just need to know on average the amount of commision a london boutique would add on to the garments. I know its a long shot but it'd be much appreciated. Thanks.

most shops add a 2.5 -2.7% mark up but some may even go up to 2.9 or worse 3%
I guess it can also depend on how much they buy too!! What kind of business are you looking to start? As I have one for sale!
