Thanks to the Jobcentre i am in a right mess, i've signed on etc but have'nt been payed on time because the claim is still being processed and am due to make payments to my bank soon of about £40 on the 15th and £37 on the 23rd. Had the Jobcentre payed me i would of been able to pay my dedts. If my account goes over the £500 overdrawn i get charged £18 and at the moment i'm £495 overdrawn.
Does anyone know what i should do fast!! because i need help and feel i have been mislead a bit by the jobcentre, is a loan the answer?

No, I wouldn't get a loan if I was you and I'm not sure you could get an actual loan being on benefits or even for such a small amount.

The benfits agenct have what is known as a 'crisis loan' where they can give you an amount of money to see you over and pay back weekly or even a 'social fund' although I think this takes more time.

Is there no one you can borrow this money off until you get your next payment, a family member or friend maybe.

You could also ring the bank and explain your circumstances to them, ususally they are happy to help, but they can't help if you don't tell them.

I would call the bank first, personally, then ask around for someone to lend you until payday.

Call the bank and explain it to them, they will probably waive the charges. However, watch out in future, if they weren't aware before they will now be aware that you aren't earning and may request repayment of the outstanding overdraft.

But it doesn't make sense to keep them in the dark regardless.

Do not get a loan! You have no regular income, so do not commit yourself.

Whoever you have to make payments to, speak to them and explain you have no income. If you get no help, speak to citizens advice.

No reputable lender would give you a loan if you are unemployed, remember that!
