Had a look as I have a friend who wants to buy one and looking for the cheapest price but this one is not the HXD only the HX @ £349.90 - unless I can't see it - do you have a more specific link?

The cheapest I have found the Sony DVD Recorder RDR-HXD710 with 160GB Harddisk for is:
£392.97 Delivered FREE in the UK from Amazon.co.uk
Dabs.com also have it at this price but I'm not sure if this includeds delivery.

Congratulations to Maudette who wins this week's challenge.
Maudette and Russellib were neck and neck with their inventive ways of saving more cash on top of getting the cheapest prize for the Sony PVR/DVD - so in the end we had to pull a name out of the hat, and Maudette triumphed.

I thought the item had to be in stock - neither DABS or Amazon have it in stock. I know as I've tried to get one !

Amazon fails to deliver. Although I had a confirmed order with Amazon they have seen fit to cancel it and have now re-advertised the item at a higher price. So I would do elsewhere if I were you.
