i think that's where people are missing the point! The show isn't another BB or shipwrecked...it's not supposed to be about survival or entertainment, it's supposed to show us what people through out and how there are ways to re-use and recycle these goods that end up att he dump! i for one have learned so much in one show and will definitely be watching to get some ideas on what I can do with goods before i throw them out...maybe I will make an effort to find someone who will put my unwanted goods to use!
