Cannabis laws are about racism and ignorance not about health at all.

Cannabis deaths...0
Alcohol deaths...8,000 a year
tobaccos deaths since 1950's...6,000,000 (yup six million)

To say young people are harmed by it is not takling the issues at all, young people should not take anything that alters their mental state be that alcohol or cannabis.Plenty of kids getting drunk on street corners..where are the calls to ban alcohol?

Legalising it would help take the dealers out the equasion and we could work on keeping it away from the young folk and educating them not to want it at that age.



Okay it can harm mental health JUST as alcohol does and drink actually causes more psychosis than cannabis does.

All told this is not about harm, it is about what society accepts as normal and what they do not.

I do not suffer from mental health issues, I only eat or vapourize cannabis for my advanced illness and the chemo and radiation treatment, to hear people who most likely drink (and/or smoke) every week just for fun tell me what I do to help me eat,sleep and live is wrong really annoys me (well it would if I wasn't so mellow)

Please let us all take some time to really decide why we want to ban or reclassify something that causes the least amount of harm compared to any other drug (alcohol, crack, tobacco, heroin)and gives the most amount of benefit to the terminally ill?
