id like to use this forum to hear people's ideas/views on anorexia as i am doing a 12,000 dissertation on the effects of this eating disorder on children in the UK!!! peoples views & comments would be of great help or if anybody knows of any national health trusts special clinics for anorexic sufferers where i could get information from this would be great!! rhodes farm have not been much help!!!

Anorexia's a hard one. It a horrible disease, and isn't helped by a culture where thin is good. I think on hollyoaks? they have been runing a storyline on anorexia. I think its good, as it shows how awful it is and how secrative its sufferers can be.

Have you tried getting in touch with The Eating Disorders Association. Now known as B.E.A.T? They tend to be very helpful with giving out information as well as been able to point you in the right direction you need for the information you want. Good Luck!
