Is it plausable that Jack is the detective in the book Bad Twin, and Sawyer is the brother/ bad twin? As the review says the missing twin is a poster boy for irresponsibility and has spent his life daring people to hate him, which sounds very much like Sawyers character.
In the LOST universe Gary Troup is real but all the characters in his book are fictional, some of the companies and names he uses are'nt though, like The Hanso Foundation or The Widmore Corporation...
Kind of like how Dan Brown uses things in his books, fiction woven around selected parts of reality. Like a DaVinci painting or Opus Dei...
The initial storyline is really good and as you read it you get really engrossed. However, the story jumps from location to location. And the ending is utterly dreadful. When I closed the book I was left thinking: 'is that it?'.
I'm sure people will disagree with me: feel free. But dont get all angry at me - this is simply my opinion.
Its got a few interesting things in it - but overall its a poor book, thats poorly written, and doesnt give any real insight into Lost at all
