I quite liked this episode actually. It missed all the action and drama of episode 9 but it was still good. Danielle dead nnnooooo. That is not on Mr Producers! Yet another complex and interesting character bites the dust. Why do they keep doing that. Miles is becoming more interesting why on earth didn't he go with Locke and Ben last week to see Jacob that would have been good. Felt very sorry for Hurley in this one. Also for Jack in the FF. Where on earth is Clare? Even if she is found alive and well its obvious she will not be reunited with Aaron in this season. Interesting point risen by Rose, why did Jack get sick? Hurley's little conversations with Charlie are also interesting how would he possibly know about Aaron not be raised by another if Charlie hadn't told him. I also felt sorry for Juliet in this one. Glad to see that Kate hadn't forgotton about Saywer completely she was looking a bit too happy at the start. Why did Sawyer "chose" to stay on the island? To look for the missing Clare perhaps? We will wait and see..............

i think it is sad that sawyer doesnt make it off the island either...i was looking forward to some future sawyerisms...

I think the actress who plays Danielle wanted to be written out.

I think that smokey has lead Claire astray, kinda like what Yemi did to Eko.

Grr sooo annoyed about Danielle! She was so interesting ... I'm still hoping against hope that shes just in a coma in the ground and comes back...

Much as I love Daniel he does have a very annoying way of speaking .. gets louder and quieter with every word and has a strange breathing pattern!

Yeah I agree that Miles must find out that Jack and Claire are related.. I wish he would let on what the 'spirits' of the dead characaters were saying!

We are annoyed, PO'd, sad, confused, impatient.....i love Lost....im gonna miss it when its over....

God I hate Jack episodes and this one was no different, the only intersting part for me was Sawyer, Claire and Miles. Gutted Danielle got killed off

Jack is being a bit weird but something big is drawing him back. Guilt i would say at what he has done. Its his fault those people died. He should have listened to locke but then again hurley said he shouldnt have gone with locke but why?
Jack is very one dimensional in that he wants to be the hero and acts like a child when he doesnt get his way

I am hoping that next season is NOT going to be about the O6 only. Surely there would be some on island action too. If there's not then it's going to be really lame.....

I wondered that too. I had assumed they were killed by the smoke monster. Unless 'the island' - wants the people on the freighter to be too terrifed to come back- rather than angry they've lost theri men and they storm over with reinforcements.

Something was bothering me about this epi....

When Jack was in his office (just before the smoke alarm went off), he was looking at an X-ray for Ryan Laker age 33 who had an L4 Lumbar tumour.....i just checked....this is exactly the same place as Ben had his, L4...is it just a coincidence?

was the smoke alarm properly going off? I thought it was just beeping like it had a low battery?

No, it was a low battery beep Kiki you are right, if it was going off it would be a really piercing noise.

Odd thing is, there is no way a big building would have battery operated smoke alarms, they would be wired to the mains with a battery back up. Otherwise it would be a full time job just going around changing all the batteries!! Also, building regulations would require it.

You are spot on about the Fire Alarm, it is a mains one (and your right about the reg's ), its was beeping to get him out to the reception so he could see his Dad!
