In last nights c4 eppy we see Sawyer hand Sayid a gun and say "welcome to the team". The pistol he gives him appears to be a SIG P226 (a pretty recently made and powerful handgun). I would assume that this is one of the marshalls guns from the lock box. Later we see Sayid packing a bag to join the rest on Michaels crusade, where, he packs a Glock 7 in the bag. Both of these guns are up to date models and would not be in the armoury, because the guns in there are very old, some pre vietnam. Is it a continuity error i ask or is there another cache of arms we and Sawyer doesn't know about.
Also how did Sayid get the other handgun???

Glocks are made predominantly from plastic, hence cannot be picked up by airport scanners, pretty up to date stuff.
Sigs have only been around for the past 10 years or so.
If he did have a different gun, How and where did he get it???

I don't know much about guns, even though i did a year of CCF(i quit, i couldnt be bothered anymore). And so i can't actually answer your questions or whatever but well done for realised this btw! There a so many continuity errors with the guns they're not worth listing, I guess they figured no-one would notice but....they were wrong.
