everytime i see a thread about season 3 i think it will be the answer to when it starts, but it's just another question.

So last year we found out directly after the series ended, so why would we know any sooner now, lets just wait and seeif there's an advert after the finale, and lets keep this topic near the top so everybody wondering can see this topic.

Good point. I except that the first advert seen after the last will tell us when the next series starts.

I think that people want to know so they know how long they have to wait.

Normally channel 4 shows previews of lost about 3/4weeks before it begins to air here in the UK. We're not going to be given the exact date anytime soon.

Hopefully they'll give us a preview after the finale of series 3 then they'll give us a waiting date.... i suspect after new years sometime!

all i can say is I CAN'T WAIT !

they brought it forward this year due to public demand so i wouldnt be suprised if they did they same again this year, although as i have stated on a number of these topics, there isnt a lot we can do about it, so we just have to wait......

Here's another bit of wishful thinking. Wouldn't it be FAB if C4 showed one of those S3 trailers that've been doing the rounds immediately after the finale next week.

although its fesible that June is the brought forward date and it was going to be even longer...its sooooooooo rubbish. but hey ho, what can we do. we can either get on with our lives and wait, or download the eppys and read spoilers....i will be guilty of the latter!

Will they show repeats of lost?

season 2 starts again on E4 on wednesday. When they did this for season 1 it was on every day and was at about 6pm.

yer its everyday at 6 pm

Season 3 starts in March I think.

It really p**ses me off no nd when I read about all the people complaining that we have to wait. Any show when the season has
1nished has a hiatus of about 6 months. Thats the way its always been...I was a massive X-Files fanand watched every series religiosly, I never once thought to complain about how long we had to wait until the next season, no matter how nailbitting the finale was. Waiting and speculating is half the fun. At the moment Im dying after the "ER" series 12 finale, but I doubt series 13 will show here any earlier than March. DO I care? Not really. WIll I look at spoilers...possibly.

I know people havent been asking as much this year, and this post is not a direct attack at anyone, but I really dont see why LOST viewers should recieve preferential treatment. Its just a show like any other (albeit an amazing one that Im obsessed with, but still just a show)

The worst thing that I can imagine, is having the schedule the Americans have...a shorter break between seasons, having a 6 episode mini series, and then a 13 week break before the series concludes..NIGHTMARE!
