this is an article i read about Matthew fox. the first 2 paragraph for now, its a lot to type, so i'll write up more of it later: "sometimes i like doing outrageous things in inappropiate situations" matthew fox is attempting to explain the three-minute sand fight that has just taken place between him and Josh Holloway, his on-screen rival Sawyer in Lost. During takes, it seems the two somehow managed to spark off a minor war. Fox laughs it off, though: "he's definanly got some jelousy issues" Sitting next to Matthew Fox, most men would have jelousy issues. At 39, he finds himself the leading man in one of tv's most acclaimed shows. His character Jack Shepard, is Lost's go-to guy, a kind of tough-tender hero every right-thinking woman would want in thier aisle seat. in person, Fox is hansome, but not with the alien beauty of a catwalk model - more like your brother's good-looking best friend, which is apt because that's exactly how he comes across. Tantalisingly, he also sports several large tattos, which he won't tell me about. All he'll say is " They're really meaningful to me - they're about certain events in my life"
The next bit: What's more, he is that hollywood rarity, a happily married man. Fox and his Italian wife Margherita have been together for 18 yeahs, married for 14 and have a 7-year-old daughter Kyle, and a 3-year-old son Byron. last year, Family Fox moved from LA to an idyllic shore-side house in Hawaii, where Lost is filmed. If it all sounds a bit 'five go mad in Hawaii', Fow says there's a strategy. " I felt that late-night partying and getting people to take thier clothes off... well anytime I've done that with people in my life I wake up the next day, see those people and i feeel a lot closer to them" Ahhh!

My bestest bud was a hugeeee Sawyer fan till she saw that pic on my screensaver and she has been a Jack fan ever since.... She said she didn't realise he was soo hot!! working my butt of here to keep the article coming, heres the next paragraph: Its seems to have worked because the cast of Lost are a tight unit, with Fox holding the position of thier baseball captin and coach "I just try and lead by example - I'm the perrson that everybody comes to with any questions they have, and to bounce off thier frustrations" Frustrations such as the fact that ABC, the American network that makes both Lost and Desperate Housewives, has lavished bonuses and gifts on the ladies of Wisteria Lane but overlooked the islanders. Fox has gone on record to voice the displeasure of the cast: " The difference between how ABC has treated Lost and Desperate Housewives has been night and day. Theres a perception among the guys that we were busting our ases on the island and we wernt getting a lot of recognition for that. I've just told the cast to keep thier heads down, stay positive and it will all work out in the end"
next paragraph: If they sound like the words of a father figure, that's because Fox has experience - on top of being the island's mentor and party guy, he's also a fully paid-up family man. Moving Margharita and the two kids out to Hawaii for the show was a big step. "Fortuanantly" he says"my wife is a huge fan of hawaii. We've been travelling here on vacation for about 7 years and so selling it to her was easy - even though it was going to mean moving Kyle who had to leave all her friends behind in Manhattan beach and come to a new school. But Kyle's travelled a lot for her age and is really adaptable. she's an amazing girl" Now that they're out here, the Foxes intend to stay, even after Lost comes to an end. As for his wife, she must love it now Fox is being voted one of the world's sexiest men, right? "We've been together for 18 years so we're way past that type of thing," he says "She's Italian and very, very intense. She genrally just takes the pss out of me"

No, I won't be dissin her at all. I actually genuinely think they are a great couple. It's nice that he's happy. Some people go their whole lives and never find what he and his wife have...What they've got is as near to perfection as you can get...
the next and final section: For an actor who appears to have 'leading man' written in hs DNA, it's stranges that UK audiences had seen remarkably little of Matthew Fox before lost. That might be because you dont reconise him: a long haired Fox played Charlie Salinger in acclamed teen drama series Party of Five, which ran from 1994 to 2000. Over here, the show had a small, cult following, but in the US it made Fox a breakout star (along with co-stars Jennifer Love Hewitt and Neve Campbell) and he came out of it spooked abpout future fame. " I was shell-shocked by the whole thing. It all happened really fast, I didnt expect it and I'd never had any experience of that, so it had an adverse affect on me personally. I got more introspectve and a little more distrustful and i felt like i wanted to be small and hide. i was really frustrated with tv by the time I'd finished. it was 6 years of my life, but i thought by year 3 we'd started to repeat ourselves" Which explains where he's been all this time "I took 2 years off after Party of Five, just doing theatre. i wanted to spend more time with my family and i felt that it was important to let people forget about me a bit - in that show, in that context, and with that particular character" What didnt he like about Charlie? "he was a very soft hcaracter. it was a show that had a mainly female audience and i think the male characters were written by women for women, so they were the sort of men woman want to be with. But i think we all know women really miss that more base part of the male psyche" he says, smiling. And so to Jack Shepard, a man who, like Fox, has something a little base about him " i just love that aspect of jack - he is a fairly interllectual guy but he has this switch that flicks in him when it's do-or-die and he becomes a guy who acts upon his instincts" If Party of Five went on several years to long for Fox, his thoughts on Lost are that it could run and run. "When it was just a piolet, people asked 'How do you make a whole series out of this?' but i was like 'i did 144 hours of a show about five people in a house in San Francisco. And you have issues about making a long-term show out of 14 main chaaracters with this huge epic story to be told?' I reckon this show could easily do an 8 year run. And this time around I'm just enjoying it."
I just think that he and his wife are extremly fortunate to have found eachother. Like I said above. Some peole go their whole lives and never experience what these 2 have..It's truely beautiful.... His wife is very pretty too. They look graet together...
