how come Hurley's Dharma VW van still has petrol in it after years sitting in the jungle?

i have no idea how long petrol lasts to be honest...and it hasnt been there too long....maybe a year or two because ben was pretty old when it was last used.

petrol evaporates- especially in high temperatures.

I feel cheated by this show.

If there was no petrol, we would not have had the classic Hurley heroic moment in the S3 finale - so I aint worried how it got there!!

If the tank was full, It would probably be ok I would have thought. Maybe it didnt run on petrol anyway, lets face it, there was no Shell or Esso garage for miles!!

Maybe it ran on cooking oil or the such like Wink
