Just redid the calculations Horsey as one thing puzzled me with your friends calculations about the 2 minutes to 31 minutes.

If you go exactly by the payload which was menat to arrive in 15 seconds then watch these calculations

15 seconds=31 minutes
1 minute=124 minutes
1 hour=7440 minutes=124 hours=5.15 days
1 day=2976 hours=124 days
1 year=45260 days=124 years

Notice the 124 similiarity which shows a formula at work that it keeps reverting back to 124.

1 sec on island = 124 seconds off the island

so here we have a constant number in the calculations which is 124

124 years=15376 years off island which is a square root obviously and the point i feel the drifting stops and they revert around again in a loop

Daniel after the experiment makes a comment klike its worse than he thought.

So could the 124 represent the 108 but something has fluctuated it speeding up the process of drifting hence.

108 minutes off island to a minute on island hence why they had to press every 108 minutes but now that the station blown the time has altered hence the old lady saying to des we are doomed if you dont keep pressing it.

That's strange, because I got something completely different.

I pretty much suck at Maths compared to a lot of people, but....

When i froze the screen image of Daniel's Timers, after he finally recieves the package. 1 of the Timers says:

2:45:03 (I assumed 2 Hours; 45 Minutes and 3 seconds) But I hadn't thought of 2 minutes, 45 seconds, 3 mili-seconds until recently.

The other Time said:

3:16:23 (which i assumed was 3 hours, 15 minutes and 23 seconds, but maybe it's 3 minutes, 15 seconds, 23 mili-seconds)

I'm under the impression, Island Time is slower than normal time. So I took the 2:45:03 calculation as Island time and the 3:16:23 as Normal Time.

When I did some really long funny mathematical calculations, I came up with: Approximately, 10.4 Months pass on the Island whilst 1 entire Year passes on the real world. But that's just me and I'm not the best Mathematician in the world.

one question that keeps bugging me. if there is a time lapse then how coul daniel comunicate with the boat in real time. Surley his radio wouldnt be able to contact the boat?

Maybe thats why the phones can only contact each other, not anybody else?

What I would like to know is how long did sayid etc think they were on the chopper for?
