Hello! I had my friend round yesterday to watch episode 15 of season 2, the one with Claire's flashbacks to when she was kidnapped. My friend picked up on something I think, but I'm not sure! When it came to the flashback where Ethan showed Claire the room for Aaron it was blue, as if they knew Claire's baby would be a boy. Thing is, I don't remember Claire saying anything about her having a boy, I thought she didn't know whether it was a boy or girl. If this is the case, how did the others/Dharma know it was a boy?
Any thoughts? xxx

I suppose! I mean you normally have pink stuff for baby girls and blue for baby boys, But did is there an item that belongs to a boy? If so then your correct! If not, it might just be that colour, or you could be right! Great theory thing!

Well she mentioned she thought it was a boy in one of the early episodes, but she just 'thought' it was going to be a boy, and how would the Dharma/others know anyway?

Did he scan her? Maybe he checked the sex of the baby and before he took her he had made a "girl room" and a "boy room" so he just had to take her the the right room!

I'll tell her I don't think we saw him scan her but there may have been a scanning machine there, right next to where Claire was sitting. Also in the flashbacks you can hear Ethan say 'we don't want him to get sick'. Who knows......
Anyone else see the 'escape hatch' in the place they took Claire? I wonder what that's for, hmmmm.....

the physcic guy sed nufin bwt the sex of the child.....in an earlier ep jin offers claire sum food he caught she makes him feel the baby kick and then says "he...he...i guess i think ur a he" so she never knew for certain also when the baby is delivered kate says "its a boy uv gt a baby boy" or sumthink like that, i havnt seen ANY of season 2 bt my god its soundin good!! xxx
Also on returning to the hatch the pictures that were on the walls in the nursery had left marks where they once were, suggesting that they had been there for a long time. Perhaps the others only take boys and they thought ALex was a boy, and its the same nursery which she grew up in??

If they didn't know what the sex of the baby was, they would have painted it yellow or something, but I think blue is a kind of 'universal' colour, if you get what I mean.
