in one of the episodes in season 2 all of the people find lots of food in the jungle. does anyone know where it came from?

There was a supply drop for the peeps in the hatches. BUT nobody saw or heard a plane flying over head.

B.t.w is it just me, or were Hurley and Libby being extremely stupid and selfish by wasting all that food that he'd hoarded, hurling it in the air and throwing it on the ground - what a waste! He should've just owned up and shared it out with everyone - the plane load of food hadn't arrived by that point - everyone loves Hurley so I'm sure they would've forgiven him for keeping it a secret for a while.
