Yay! It's finally here!
Lost: Season Two came out on DVD in the US on Tuesday!
And it has unaired flashbacks on it.
Hopefully I will get to buy it today... and I'll fill you guys in.
Keep an eye out.

Beats me... um... probably in the spring.
They often release the season on DVD about a month before the new season starts...
so maybe you won't get it until April even.

i love play.com its brilliant site.

I've been let down by them a couple of times on delivery times, but I guess you could argue that's as much down to the postal service as them. And it's not gonna stop me using them as they're almost always the cheapest place to go.

But why is it that when I order something for myself that can arrive any time it's on my doorstep the next day, but the birthday presents I order a week in advance never make it on time?! It's all part of the conspiracy, I say...

It's also £44.99 on Amazon, and their delivery times are pretty good.

if you can hang on for the second season awhile then go to amazon and buy it second hand...there are always ones on there which were given as presents and not even opened, and about 10 cheaper. thats what i will do....however - will they do the whole S2 part 1 thing again for ages? or will the whole series come out at once (in the UK) ?

S2 part 1 is already available (£24.99 on play.com). The Oct 2nd release is for part 2 (also £24.99) and for complete season box set (£44.99).

I pre0ordered S2 a few weeks ago from the US and should be here in the next few days so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!

It's a 7 DVD set... the images are (1-6 then bonus)
The 108 number counter, The Teddy Bear, The Jesus Stick, The Heroin Mary, The Black Light ?, The Delete Button, and The Swan emblem.

There are three new Flashbacks, two for Shannon, and one for Locke.
One shows Shannon talking to Boone's mother about her father... it was boring.

The second shows the French family that Shannon exchanged with. Not sure where that fit into the episode though.

The last is the funeral director talking to Locke about his father... nothing to special.

A neat feature is a lost connector. It shows how certain characters were in the same scenes as others before they were on the island. Like the Lotto Girl in Hurley's flashback is the woman that we see Sawyer coning at the start of his flashback.

I ordered mine from Amazon.com on August 29th for $45.85 (about £24.50 including postage for the whole series). It was shipped on the 31st (even though it wasn't supposed to be released until the beginning of September - around the 4th I think). It arrived yesterday. Brilliant service, I thought.

The box set is well worth it - loads of extras.

i heard that on the dvd there the never seen before kiss between sayid and locke.
and that it reveals the secret behind the character connections

Haha... yes, there is a kiss... but it more like a blooper, or a joke scene.
Sayid and Charile also make out on the beach.

Theres also this funny scene where Rouseou is talking to Sayid, and she's like "Are you ready to rock?!!!" I died laughing... very unexpected.

I've lost faith in amazon. I ordered the season 1 boxset on the Monday morning it came out, and didn't get there until the Friday (when it was supposed to take 1-2 days) The same thing happened with a PC game. I know it's only a couple of more days to wait, but it's not a smart move to make me wait for Lost!
