Ok interesting episode, so we have learnt all about Michael now.. I believe Walt has been taken from his grandmothers though and went back with 'Friendly'
Mr Friendlys comment to Kate at season 3 opener now makes sense lol 'your not my type'!!
Not an awful lot to say about the episode really, just filled in as a recap and 30minutes of it was all Michaels flashback..
Here is what believe happend at the end.


We last saw Frank had taken the helicopter on a 'errand'
I believe he took Keamy and his gun (as we saw in flashback with michael) plus others with military training back to the Island.
franks little crew shoot Danielle and Karl (dont believe Danielle is dead)
they will take Alex captive and in a future episode we will see them storm Lockes camp.. possibley Killing Claire.
Hope Sawyer dont catch a bullet, think his been through enough as well as Locke.
The Island is now officially at war and losties will have to trust Ben to stay alive.

Wow ! Just finished watching it.. what an amazing episode Hahahah yeah "your not my type" lol that does make sense now :P

Grr can't believe Sayid grassed michael up.. i wonder whats going to happen to him..

Ohh i do hope your right about danielle not being dead.. i was upset when she got shot

no i dont think shes dead, writers said in an interview that they was doing a Danielle flashback this season but then had to prospone that until season 5 with the extra 3 episodes following over.. because of writers strike.

great episode.. now we know why jack didnt manage to kill himself in the first flash forward (the island wouldnt allow it)

Tom being gay was a good little twist, no wonder he got friendly with jack, he wanted to play doctors and nurses with him instead of jate it should be tack

I dont understand why michael said he was there to die? is it cos once he gets to the island he will kill himself or will the island let him kill himself once he has saved it?

I think it means once he has done the island's bidding the island will then allow him to kill himself.

I don't think Rouseau is dead either and I think it was the others who were shooting at them. I beleive it was Ben who planned to get rid of Karl this way (and possibly rouseau). The other frieghters don't have access to the island yet so it couldn't be them. I think ben is very manipulative and I do think he set it all up.

I was also really annoyed with Sayyid (who I usually like) - I mean come on! For some-one who is usually quite intuitive what an awful thing to do to Michael esp after everything Michael has been through. Did he not hear that he wanted to kill himself???? in other words he regretted what he did to Ana Lucia and Libby??? But then again, knowing how clever Sayyid is, he could be grassing him up on purpose to see what happens (to see whether the freighters' real intentions) as we know he doesn't trust them. But when he charged over with Michael I was And poor Michael

It was great to see Libby again! I wish they had shown Ana Lucia as well, and good to see the other killed off freighters (Naomi).

I also beleive Walt is on the ship - I don't know why but it makes sense.

Great episode. I really hope Michael doesn't die though.

I laughed when Danielle got shot as it was so obvious it would happen - "we go on three; one, two, three" *POW*

I find it a bit unbelievable that Michael could be persuaded to go do Ben's dirty work-
after all, Walt's safe now- and there's no guarantee that Walt will forgive him if he goes and does what Ben says- there's more chance that Walt will soften up and forgive him in time anyway.

ps. how come Desmond hasn't said anything about Widmore- he knew the guy personally and should have some insight on his motives- ie. would he kill everyone on the island?

also nice to see Miles has bounced back from having a grenade stuffed in his gob for 2 episodes.

ye i noticed it wasnt original walt too. was an interesting episode. so many more questions needing answered!!!!!

is it just me or was micheals mum the same woman, that we saw in episode 2 the one that had a ghost in er house that miles went to.

just had a thought. maybe the reason michael agreed to work for ben and go back is because he knows if he does the rest of the losties are gonna kill him.he cant kill himself so he will let them do it.

Oooh that would be good, that would be cos she thought they were dead.

i think when micheal said he was there to die he meant that after he sabotaged the engine he has to start killing the crew, then when their all dead he can't get back so therefore he'll have to kill himself.

personally i believe charles widmore is the good guy because i don't like ben, plus ben also has a certain number of corpses e.g. the dharma initiative, but was the wreckage staged after or before locke got shot.

I think the frieghter people killed Karl and Danielle, last we saw of Frank he was being sent on an errand and he didnt look happy about it, I think he took 'fire happy' Keamy and some others back to the island to start the war.

I love Ben, think him and Locke are the best characters on the show and I also think in time we will understand Ben's logic more and he will be the lesser of 2 evils (Ben v Widmore) and thats why Sayid will end up working for him.

Nice seeing Naomi - to think - she was once actaully alive

This is kinda random but there was points in this episode where I saw Alex at certain angles and she looked shockingly like Kate - I had to double check to see who it was

Oh Wow It's Libbie! She's blonde again lol. Umm just to double check - was that a bomb that Micheal had?

Aww that was harsh when Ben pretended to be Walt poor Micheal was so dissapointed lol

OMG the nerve of Ben 'I will never kill innocent people' what about Karl and Danielle??!!

Danielle is so not dead she got shot in the lower part of her right side.

So all in all a really good episode Sorry for posting so much I just do it to keep track of things

P.P.S Once again an EXTREME lack of Sawyer in this episode.

I liked this ep a lot. I think the ending was great. I agree, no way Danielle is dead. I thought her flashback would be next episode. That would be a good idea, cos it could continue on from Episode 8's ending: Danielle tries to protect her daughter; has flashbacks about how she lost her daughter. Great ending when Karl got shot lol. I'm a bit evil, but I was laughing through that entire scene. Oh, and Sayid at the end! What's wrong with you!

Hi guys...been away a long time haven't I?

I will try to do the lost fantasy island update today.

I loved the episode...I have to admit i'm on the side of assuming that Ben had Rousseau and Karl shot...his looks of evil to Karl when he was hugging Alex just seemed too reminiscent of his 'Juliet you belong to me speech'. Then the ambush of Karl seemed similar to the killing of Goodwin to keep the threat away from his women.

Someone in a former thread suggested Juliet may be Ben's daughter? This could be proof of that, I guess.

We also know he has been able to communicate somehow with the people at the temple (Harper suggested this)... but I may have to eat my words when episode 9 airs.

Also if frank has returnd to the island wouldn't the losties have noticed the chopper?? Maybe he's gone to Widmore instead?

Yeah i thought that as michael came out of the house, i recognised the fence and the whole place did look very similar.

I did find it quite funny when danielle got shot because of how quickly she got shot. And i also thought that the walt we saw was chubbier than the original.

Hmmm, this was quite interesting, but I still dont think I can say for sure exactly which side is right or wrong, if you know what I mean.

Ben has constantly said that he is one of the good guys, but I personally think he is just justifying what he does, its not that he actually is good.

I also dont think Widmore is good either, ah beggar it, they are both as bloomin bad as one another I think they both have very selfish reasons for hiding/finding the island, and are so focussed, for whatever reason, that the deaths of others mean nothing. I mean, Ben caused the death of this father and likely the remainder of the Dharma initiative, they were mostly just people working for Dharma, what made them not innocent??

I think Sayid has a plan, he always has had a plan
