i read somewhere on a site that time moves so much slower on the island that actually they have been there for only a week, also a lady on the outside world see's on the news about the plane 815 is still missing.. I'm gonna try and find the site where i got this from...but i must say that the site does have a reputation for posting fake spoilers.

here's exactly what is said on the site. i copied and pasted it.

the very first post i posted on this thread i made a mistake, meant to say time runs much quicker, not slower. (damn fing wouldn't let me edit it)

I don't think time moves any differently on the island than it does of it, DocArzt from the Tailsection explains it beautifully...

***As for the time issue, if they do a "time is moving at a different rate on the island" ploy they are screwed. They will jump the shark 100%. Why? Because Desmond's time line matches up with the outside world. He knew exactly what day and year it was that he did not push the button but did not notice a discrepancy between that date and his own time keeping. That would obliterate the possibility of time field effect. (if it were moving faster on the island, he would have been years in advance of the crash date and it wouldn't have aligned. Slower, he would have been behind.) ***

Faster time, slower time, based on what I've seen in the show I don't buy it...

Anyway I imagine a plot twist involving time pretty much sucks, but not having seen how they would deal with that in LOST it's impossible to criticise, I just hope that nothing too stupid goes on...

That includes Walt being "older" than he should, them getting rescued only to find out they've been missing a week, I've seen all that before in countless other TV Sci-Fi shows, LOST has been so much better than that...

But like I say I could be imagining it all wrong

well we all know at least 1 person has a watch on the islsand so if time goes quicker... it wouldnt be like say a time differenct between england and spain... thta is a set difference, if it was a set difference it could be only up to a couple of hours or a day off the watch time and date.... the losties would notice surly with the watch that the time was not a set time and that 1 day the would obviously set at 7 at nioght and the next 9 because it wouldnt be a set time... i hope most of you get what im trying to say... iv heard the blow point is: *jack joins the others and dosnt go back with sawyer and kate when they escape/released/rescued but he stays with the others because he has met 1 in the outside world before*

Well...judging from S3 Trailers, Jack has escaped/released, we know that...

That's a cool theory, the Island seems to be shielded from the rest of the world, its in another world, hence why God can't see it, and so, I guess time goes faster in that sort of world (?)...

Maybe Kate is more important to the others than we first thought, if Jack and Sawyer are both locked up and she is getting the 'royal treatment'. But then we have no idea where the others are taking her or what they have or are going to do with her hmmmm!!!

Has anyone thought that maybe Kate's choice isnt between Jack & Sawyer but infact could be a choice of to stay with the others or to go back to the beach? Or it could be a choice of who lives? It hasnt actually been confirmed that her choice is related to a love interest I mean I know we see these spoilers that she may choose Sawyer she may not but maybe we are not thinking creatively enough!

I may be waaay off here but you never know!

that pic of kate in the dress with mr friendly looks like hes leading her down the aisle or to be a sacrifice like in king kong

ermmmm, great point interesting for sure. But my guess is that it is between jack and sawyer, but i could be wrong. As i said interesting theory.
