You know when ben said charles had changed the rules and locked himself in that cupboard? WEll is that when he time travelled to see charles and to get sayid on side? Or not??
I think its "assumed" that Ben went through the secret door to release the BSM to kill the soldiers so they could escape....but its possible that he did travel somewhere....but we dont know. All we know is that he told them to run and that there would be a price to pay for releasing it..!

Yes.. BUT those flashbacks might not have been in chronilogical order... which would complicate things

I think the writers said before S4 started that the flash-forwards would be in chronical order per episode so as NOT to confuse things too much but that they would mix it up a little by having the forwards non-chronological throughout S4 to add to the mystery...
